Alerts & Notifications deliver essential information to key people when it’s needed most. Learn more about the different types of alerts & notifications available in Sospes.

Alerts & Notifications

Sospes allows you to create alerts for specific situations and reports that will notify certain individuals based on their assigned roles in the system making it easier than ever to stay informed.

Viewing Alerts & Notifications

  • To view alerts and notifications, click Admin at the top of the page.
  • Along the left-hand side of the page, click Alerts & Notifications
  • A new page will appear Select Alert Below with a list of alerts. Alerts that are enabled will show a green checkmark circle to the right. Alerts that are not enabled will show an empty circle to the right.

Types of Alerts

There are many different types of alerts that can be set up in your Sospes environment - a great way to stay connected to the important happenings in your business.

Emergency Alerts
Alerts are sent every time the Emergency button is pressed.

Hospitalization Alerts

Alerts are sent when a submitted report indicates an injured employee was treated at a hospital.

Drugs/Alcohol Alerts

Alerts are sent when drugs or alcohol are selected as a contributing factor in a submitted report.

High Severity Alerts
Alerts are sent when a report is submitted that involves high-risk situations or contributing factors.

Hazardous Material Alerts
Alerts are sent when a report is submitted that involves a spill of hazardous material.

Task Assigned

Alerts are sent out every time a task (of any kind) is assigned. When enabled, these will automatically send an email to the person who has been assigned the task.

Task Created

Confirmation alerts are sent out every time a task is created. When enabled, these will automatically send an email to the person who created the task.

Task Reminder

Alerts are sent out to remind employees of any of their open tasks. When enabled, these will automatically send an email to the person who has been assigned the task.

Task Overdue

Alerts are sent out the night after a task becomes overdue or past its set due date. When enabled, these will automatically send to the person who has been assigned the task.

Task Completed

Alerts are sent when a task is marked as completed.

 Inspection Fail

Alerts are sent when an inspection form is submitted or saved with a line item set as failed or as a resolved fail.

Substandard Condition

Alerts are sent when a substandard condition is submitted.

 CA/PA Created

Alerts are sent out when a Corrective/Preventative Action, or CA/PA, is created.

Incident Submitted

Confirmation alert whenever an incident of any type is submitted.

Observation Submitted

Confirmation alert whenever an observation of any type is submitted.

Close Call Submitted

Confirmation alert whenever a close call report is submitted.

Report Summary

This allows you to configure the distribution list for report summaries. Report summaries can only be generated by Safety Professionals in the incident management screen.

 Motor Vehicle Alerts

Alerts are sent when a report is submitted that involves motor vehicles. This alert is triggered when a user selects Yes from the incident reporting page.

Credential Status Changed

Alerts are sent when a credential status changes.

Credential Expires Soon

Alerts are sent when a credential expires soon.

360 Feedback

Alerts sent when Corrective/Preventative Action assigned, Investigation assigned or Report (Incident/CC/Observation) closed.

Workers’ Comp Alerts

Alerts are sent when an injury is covered by Workers’ Compensation.
