- 2.7.248 (Previous Version)
Restrict Follow-Up Task Assignments on Forms to Specific Employees
Form Admins can now decide exactly who can receive the follow-up tasks on a submitted form. When you build or edit a form template, you'll find a new "Assign failures to specific employees" setting. If you change it from Any Employee to Only Specific Employees, you can now add the employees who should be eligible for those task assignments. From that point on, any employee filling out the form will only see those named individuals in the assignee dropdown.
This applies to the two question types that can assign tasks: Pass, Fail, N/A and 1–5 Score. Everything about how these tasks get created stays the same, a failing answer (or a score below your configured threshold) still opens the follow-up task screen, where the user can either resolve the issue on the spot or assign it out to another employee. The only change is who appears in that assignee list.
Why it matters:
Until now, the assignee dropdown showed every employee in the company, which may not always be necessary when a form’s fail tasks need to always be assigned to a select group of employees. By narrowing the list to just the right people, you make the end-user experience faster and cut down on misassigned tasks.
For example, on a Forklift Inspection you might restrict assignments to just the maintenance staff at each site. When an inspector marks "Seatbelt in good working order" as Fail, the assignee dropdown shows only those maintenance employees.
Important to know:
- Configuring this setting requires the Form Admin role.
- The restriction is set per form template, so you can tailor the employee list to fit each type of inspection or audit.
- Leaving the toggle on Any Employee will display the full employee list.
Addition of "Individual Declined Treatment" on Injury Reports
Any user filling out an incident report that results in an injury can now select "Individual Declined Treatment" as an option for "What type of treatment did the person involved receive?" if the injured employee declined treatment at the time of the incident.
Enhanced Audit Logging on Reports in the Supervisor Portal
A new "History" tile will now appear on reports within the supervisor portal, and expanded report history changes will now be captured and recorded on every report. Now, any follow-up details entered or checked on the report in the supervisor portal will be recorded and will include what changed, which employee made the change, and when.
Why it matters:
Previously, the history tab lived under the "Notes & Attachments" tile, and only displayed when the report was submitted, closed, or re-opened. This limited the view into seeing any additions or changes made to a report in the "interview" section of the report in the supervisor portal.
Now, any changes made in the "interview" section of the report will be recorded and displayed under the "History" tile, and as more information about an incident, close call, or observation is known, employees with access to reports in the supervisor portal can continue to fill out the interview section of the report, and any other employees with access to the report can view the entire history of a report under the "History" tile, allowing for enhanced visibility and audit history.
Additional Enhancements
- Investigations can now be deleted in the Supervisor Portal.
- Numerous quality of life updates and bug fixes.
