Easily bulk edit groups of assets using Sospes' asset bulk editing tool!
Users with the asset manager role can bulk edit assets directly through Sospes' bulk asset edit function as opposed to editing each asset individually. Easily change the facility of as many assets as needed, edit their tracking IDs, or mark the status of a group of assets in one place.
To access the asset bulk editing tool, click Admin and then Assets on the left hand side. On the top left of the page, select the ASSETS BULK EDIT button.
Once on the assets bulk edit page it will display all active assets in your Sospes environment. There are several filtering options available:
- Select the Show All tab to show all active AND inactive assets.
- Filter by facility, asset category type (general, motor vehicle, etc), asset category, manufacturer, or model identifier.
- Count of your chosen filtered view will display at the top right and bottom right of the asset bulk edit grid.
Using the Assets Bulk Edit Grid
In this example, we are wanting to update the "cost" column for the "Handtrucks" asset category.
- Select the asset category you are wanting to work with.
- Navigate to the "cost" column.
- Type in the top cell the value you'd like to enter.
- Select the small square in the bottom-right corner of the cell, and drag down select all the cells you want to update.
- Make sure to select Save to save your work.
